After the announcement of the re-election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, large protests began to form against the alleged fraud. During this time, Twitter became the main communication tool for the protesters. It then became the main source of news on this event for the world after all media were shut down in Iran. Come and learn how Twitter was used during this troubling time in Iran that caught the world’s eyes and heart.
